News: Stranded Nigerian Girls Evacuated From Lebanon

Reportedly, the federal government has confirmed the arrival of 27 stranded Nigerian girls who were evacuated from Lebanon.


It was revealed by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ferdinand Nwonye, that the ladies arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, yesterday, September 6, 2020.

He stated that the girls had tested negative for the coronavirus before embarking on the trip and were evacuated in line with the Federal government's guidelines on COVID-19 evacuations. Also, they will be allowed to return to their homes after self-isolating for 14-days.
